Climate Counsel has established the Ecocide Advice Centre to support the development of national and international laws of ecocide. The work of the Centre helps to enable States and legislators to support a new international crime of ecocide and enact ecocide legislation on a national level, help civil society to monitor and legally ‘frame’ environmental destruction, and help businesses to conform to the new legal landscape.
